Dairy May Pose Little Threat To Heart Health

That said, there is good news for dairy lovers. A new study published in the journal Nutrition, Metabolism and Cardiovascular Diseases has found that a diet rich in dairy may not boost the risk of cardiac conditions.

Researchers from Harvard and Brown Universities came to this conclusion after analyzing 10 years of health data collected on Costa Rican adults. The team found that consuming dairy appeared to confer as many heart-protective benefits as it did cardiac risks.
